Msty Nexus 0.5.0 release artwork showing the console, Smart Routes, usage reporting, and a connected workspace view

Nexus connects your providers, local runtimes, and the apps you work in, and keeping up with everything means moving from page to page. Usage sits in one place, model state in another, and live routing activity is nowhere to be found.

Msty Nexus 0.5.0 gathers them into one view by introducing the Nexus Console, adding the Pro tier, making Smart Routes easier to start, and reporting cost and savings together.

Across these changes, we focused on making the whole setup easier to see and control, so you spend less time checking and more time building.

The Nexus Console Turns The App Into A Workspace

The largest addition in this release is the Nexus Console, a workspace built into the desktop app. Every part of your setup now has its own page, Overview for system health, model activity, and fleet status, Providers and Models for everything that connects and runs, Routes for Smart Routes, and Usage for what the work costs. Opening the app puts the whole setup in sight.

The Activity view streams downloads, jobs, and routing decisions as they happen, so when something goes wrong you see it the moment it does rather than finding out later. You can update or roll back a runtime from its row in the runtime table, reach your first request through the guided Getting Started flow, and switch between light and dark themes, with tray only mode one switch away.

Nexus keeps running in the tray after you close the window, and updates install themselves in the background.

Pro Removes Limits And Adds Room To Grow

Msty Nexus Pro is our new paid tier for setups that need more than one machine. It removes the Smart Route limit, unlocks the Smart Balancer, which spreads requests across a pool of models that answer to one name, and raises managed machines from one to three. The Console shows what each plan includes, and once you upgrade, the new limits reach every machine you have already connected, without a restart. Pro also opens the same Console in your browser, so you can check in from anywhere.

Smart Routes Keep Requests Moving And Conversations Intact

Building a route from scratch takes time, and the first requests through a new route are the most likely ones to fail. A new Smart Route now begins from a starter, a complete route you can adjust, so it works from the very first request.

You pick a starter, reshape the steps, and save it as your own.

If a model stops responding, new requests move to another model that still works, and a request already underway comes back promptly with an answer or an error. The route graph now updates during a reply, not after it finishes.

The longer a conversation runs, the more a model can reuse from what it has already read. Routing protects that reuse, since moving a conversation means reading it from the start again.

Usage Reports Cost And Savings Together

The Overview and the Usage page now give every request a price in dollars. Prompt reuse is counted as cache reads, with a percentage beside it showing how much of the prompt was reused rather than reread. Speed history tracks whether generation got faster or slower, and estimated spend sits beside the savings. Gauge, the subscription view, answers two questions about your plan, what is left and what it has cost so far.

Everyday Workflows Made Smoother

The release polishes everyday workflows across downloads, model lists, provider setup, and the Console window.

  • An interrupted download resumes where it stopped instead of starting over
  • A download shows its size before you commit to it
  • Models a local runtime cannot load stay out of the list
  • Nexus refuses duplicate providers and models before they are created
  • Reopening the Console restores its size, position, and zoom

Update to Msty Nexus 0.5.0

Msty Nexus brings the parts of your setup together, so you can open one Console and see all of it, lift the limits with Pro when you need more, start a Smart Route that works from the first request, and watch what the work costs and saves.
