We’ve made significant updates to MLX model support and stability, including enhanced compatibility with a wider range of MLX models, such as gpt-oss.

With this update, existing MLX models must be migrated to a new folder if you wish to retain them.

To migrate:

1. Go to Settings > MLX Service > Version, open the ellipsis menu, and select option to force update, to version 2.0.0b6.
2. Open Terminal and run:

   cd "$HOME/Library/Application Support/MstyStudio/models-mlx"
   

3. Then move models to the new folder by running:

   curl -fsSL https://next-assets.msty.studio/app/scripts/migrate-mlx-models.sh | bash
